Rules and Regulation
All members agree to follow rules and regulations set forth by the Teen Krewe Board of Directors

A sign in / sign out sheet is required at every dance or party, if Krewe member leaves they will not be allowed to return later in the evening.

*Guest member are welcome

MUST BE between 13-19 years of age.*


Rules are designed to ensure the fun and safety of all Krewe members. This is your Krewe enjoy and participate.

Teen Krewe Motor Parade Guidelines

• Put beads in labeled bags – no boxes. Mesh laundry bags, trash bags, pillowcases, etc.

• Throws (beads, cups, doubloons) - are required. A sufficient amount of throws are necessary 1200 – 1500 items. No candy or food is permitted only traditional Mardi Gras throws.

• Do not throw to the front or rear of the float. If the float stops – STOP THROWING !

• Teen Krewe shirts are to be worn at all Krewe events including the parade.

• Absolutely no glass containers are allowed on the float or seawall. All beverages should be in cans, paper or plastic containers.

• Absolutely no nudity or distasteful activity will be permitted, this includes vulgar or offensive language or music. Please be aware Mardi Gras Southeast Texas is a family oriented event and violators will not be allowed to participate.

• Absolutely no tobacco to alcohol will be permitted. Officials will be notified and violators will not be allowed to participate.

• Float guards are required by Mardi Gras Southeast Texas or the float does not roll. Float guards will ride the tow vehicle until the float reaches the foot of Rosehill Manor. They must walk the entire parade route.

• Trash bags will be provided to each rider, please utilize them throughout the parade so there will be less to clean at the end of the parade. Everyone is to help clean the float at the end of the parade route.

• The floats will be on the seawall by 1:00 pm on parade day. No one will be allowed to drive a vehicle onto the seawall. No parking on the grass. Plan to arrive by 2:00 pm as the seawall gate will close at 3:00 pm. You will need to make arrangements with someone to pick you up after the parade. Volunteers are not responsible for your pick up – make sure you arrange a meeting place with parents or guardians.

• No golf carts, ATV or any type of small motorized vehicles will be allowed on the seawall (with the exception of the parade committee staging the parade

• Firearms are strictly prohibited.

• Remember, all of the parade officials are volunteers and need your cooperation.


Teen Krewe Royalty March Guidelines

Teen Aurora participates in the Royalty March each year along with other area Krewe’s – all Teen Aurora Krewe members are invited to participate. Parade participants should wear their Krewe Shirt for the parade and have sufficient throws for a 5 Block parade.


SCHEDULE:

LINE UP AT 12:00 NOON AT ATLANTA AVE & 5TH STREET

PARADE STARTS: 1:00 PM

PARADE IS 5 BLOCK LONG INSIDE THE ENTERTAINMENT AREA

PARADE ENDS AT AUSTIN AVE.

YOU WILL NEED A TICKET TO RE-ENTER THE GROUNDS AFTER THE PARADES – DON’T FORGET THEM
